(a little yarnie cake for me)
Today it is official. I only have one more precious year of being thirty something. I am 39 years old today. I still can't comprehend what it will be like to be (gasp) 40. In. One. Year. One. Little. Year. Bwaaaaaa!
Ok, I'm back. I might have fainted there for a minute. I think it took longer to get up than yesterday too. Haha just kidding. I am very blessed. I have a wonderful husband, three beautiful children, my health and really great friends!
Have a great day everyone! Keep smiling! (even if you're old like me!) HA!

Happy Birthday, Lisa! It's like Aija said, you're only old until you start feeling that way. It's a state of mind!

Happy birthday! Love the cake and candle!
Heh. I want to a Christmas party on my 39th birthday, someone got wind of things, and they all sang "Happy Birthday" despite my best efforts at ducking. An older woman elbowed me hard and winked, "And how old are ya? 39 and counting?"
And I went, Yeah, for about six hours now.
After that, I spent the whole year saying I was turning 40 my next birthday, so people wouldn't think I was lying about my age. Then when I did turn 40, I felt like I'd already been that for a year, more or less, and it was kind of a drag to say 40 when I'd missed out on getting to say 39. 'Course, now that I'm 48, there's NO WAY I'm going to say a word about 50 rushing at my face any sooner than I have to mention that word--lesson's learned.
Gee, can I come be almost-40 with you? Oh. Wait. Here comes her elbow at me...
