Blizzard!

I live in Michigan, and wow is the weather nasty here today! We are under a blizzard warning.

That is what it looks like out my window already, and it is supposed to get much worse! (sorry for the bad pic, but it is snowing like crazy out there, so I took it through the window) It is deep already here, I am sure we have over 2 feet on the ground in spots.

The forecast says more accumulating snow, winds picking up to 40mph, blowing and drifting, dangerous travel conditions, and wind chills between -10 and -20. I guess I will be staying home today, YIKES! Everything around here is cancelled for today anyway, and probably will be tomorrow too. Parker lost his hat yesterday, so I think I will be kntting him a new one. Maybe I will haul out one of my shawls in honor of the UFO challenge too. Have a good weekend and happy knitting!

Stay in, stay warm - hell, stay in your PJs. Sounds like a great excuse to curl up and knit :)

We got a little snow last night (MA) but it's already melting away - so much for fabled New England winters!

I am so jealous. It looks like a fairy land. How lovely.

Perfect weekend for knitting isn't it? I'm in Lansing and I stocked up on food so I don't possibly have to leave the house in this mess until it's over! :o)

Have fun knitting and stay warm!

I've been bummed all day--jumped out of bed this morning and rushed to the window. No snow! Grand Rapids took all our snow. I live near Lansing--we got maybe an inch. But we got the wind and -20 wind chill--what a rip off! Enjoy your blizzard and knitting!

Yuck. I don't like snow and we've been lucky here this year with almost no snow. I hope it stays that way too.
