Things are going better...

Things are slowly getting back to normal in this house. I have most of our stuff put back in it's proper place, closets cleaned, some purging done, and it is looking a little better around here. I always feel so good after I declutter. Ahhhh..
The countertops and floors are all in. We just need some toe-kick installed underneath, and it will be complete.
Looks better than the old, eh? I like it. (sorry for Brodie giving you all the evil eye there)

There has been a little time for knitting. I finished one of my Panda Cotton socks. It feels really good on my foot.
I kinda love the way they look too hehe.
Isn't it a nice looking sock? Lie to me if you hate it.

Well sorry for the quickie, totally-lacking-in-deep-thinking post. I need to get off my butt before it gets any larger, knit on my other sock, and help my daughter get ready for prom. Oh yippee.

Oh and clean. Remodeling has left me with this.
Yeah. That is what every surface of my house looks like. This could take a while.

It feels good to put things back where they should be. And, in a beauiful kitchen. It must be worth the frustration of living in a construction zone.

And the kitchen isn't half bad either!

I love you sock (and I'm not lying)! Nice new kitchen, too.

Your kitchen looks great and your sock looks fabulous. Isn't that sock a pattern of your own? Are you going to make it available to all and sundry?

I do love that sock. Remodelling, though... Glad ours is long finished. Our contractor trod on nails he dropped on our roof, and we had 17 leaks after he was done. Including one where the rain poured in through an electrical socket.

Your kitchen looks wonderful, though, and I think mine was worth it all, too.

Your kitchen looks beautiful. I love your choice of tile.

I also love your Panda cotton sock. Could you share your design? Was it done toe up or cuff down.

Thank you. Ruth (Upstate NY)

Remodels are so much work, but from the looks of your kitchen, it was so worth it. It looks wonderful!

Great job on both the kitchen and the socks. They are beautiful :) Are you willing to share where the sock pattern is from? I would love to knit a pair!

Your sock is beautiful, if you ask me. And I don't have to lie either! I hate cleaning up after remodeling. It sucks! I'll send some good vibes your way, so it'll be a quick job!
Have a great day!
