Oh yeah!

I am so excited! I learned something new last night. My wonderful friend Ann taught me how to do a short-row heel. It turned out so good! I love it! If you remember from my last post, I was having MAJOR pooling issues in the gusset area of my sock and I was not happy. Trust me, it got even worse after I took that photo. The yellows and taupes were pooling together and it literally looked like barf! It would have been right on the top of my foot too. ICK!! I would never have been able to live with that. So, I ripped back to the heel and wah lah, a new heel!

It looks so much bettah, doesn't it? And now the close-up:

Isn't it pretty? Yippee yahooie! I love love love it! No pooling on this sock baby! Sigh....I love this yarn......I love my new heel.....I love my sock.

It does look great! I wish I could get the sr heel down. Mine look awful. Which method did you use?

I love the short row heel on your sock. I've never tried it, I think I need to now. It's perfect with the yarn you are using!

I see you use circs. Have you tried dpns and just prefer circs? Just wondering since I've never tried circs for socks. or to put both sleeves on for that matter.
